Portland Water Bureau Projects
Powell Butte, Kelly Butte, & Washington Park Reservoirs, Sandy River Station permitting, and Lusted Hill Corrosion Control Improvements

Portland Waterfront Park
Winterbrook advised the design team on compliance with Historic District Guidelines and the compatibility of improvements with the Historic District. The project was approved by the Portland Landmarks Commission and has since been constructed.

Prineville Natural Features Update
Winterbrook conducted a comprehensive inventory of Goal 5 resources (scenic rimrock and Barnes Butte, stream corridors, wildlife habitat and wetlands) and Goal 7 hazards (floodplains, rock fall areas, steep slopes, dry washes) and worked closely with Crook County GIS to map each resource site / hazard area.

Problem Solving for Private Developments
Winterbrook has helped private entities achieve favorable outcomes in a wide range of planning situations requiring unique and broad problem solving experience.

River District Navigation Center
Winterbrook provided pro-bono services to the Oregon Harbor of Hope to lead the land use planning and regulatory compliance process for the River District Navigation Center at the Broadway Bridge.

Scappoose Industrial Lands Program
Winterbrook led a team including Johnson-Reid, Otak, and DKS in evaluating the City of Scappoose’s ability to capitalize on its unique economic development and locational advantages.

Seaside School Campus Outside the Tsunami Inundation Zone
Winterbrook led the Seaside School District’s application to amend the Seaside UGB to accommodate a new K-12 campus above the tsunami inundation zone.

Small Government Contract Planning
Winterbrook has provided on-call planning and environmental services to many communities in Oregon and Washington.

Smith and Bybee Wetlands
Working with Metro, Winterbrook prepared a Comprehensive Natural Resources Plan (CNRP) for the 2,100-acre Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area in North Portland.

Sunnyside Neighborhood Association
Principal Tim Brooks served on the Board of Directors for the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association for 20 years, including 4 years as its President.

The Dalles Periodic Review Projects
Winterbrook managed a comprehensive evaluation of scenic, cultural and natural resources in a 7,000 acre study area to determine potential impacts from urban growth boundary expansion into the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Tigard Tree Groves
Winterbrook developed a tree grove inventory and assessment methodology and completed a comprehensive inventory of tree groves in the City of Tigard.
