Winterbrook led a two-step land use process to relocate the Warrenton-Hammond School District’s three public schools on a 58-acre site outside of the tsunami zone.
Winterbrook worked with the college on a major building expansion for new classroom and student services building (Building 7), and later for space to expand dining, student activities, classrooms, and the bookstore (Building 5).
Winterbrook led the Seaside School District’s application to amend the Seaside UGB to accommodate a new K-12 campus above the tsunami inundation zone.
Winterbrook Planning has worked with the McMinnville School District on several school expansions and urban growth boundary amendments.
Winterbrook Planning led the land use planning efforts for the Vanport Building. The multi-jurisdictional project included working with Portland State University and City of Portland.
Winterbrook provides on-call planning services to the school on a range of land use issues.
As part of a multi-disciplinary master planning team, Winterbrook worked closely with affected North Portland neighborhood associations and city staff to prepare an impact mitigation plan for campus expansion.
