Oregon APA 2025 Legal Issues Workshop
Early this month, Winterbrook Planning staff attended the 2025 OAPA Legal Issues Workshop at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
The annual workshop brings together planners, attorneys, and policy experts from across Oregon to explore current legal issues shaping land use and planning practice.
Winterbrook attendees included Managing Principal Jesse Winterowd, Larissa Gladding, Maddy Poehlein, Grace Coffey, Keava Campbell, Ben Schonberger, and Morgan Snyder.
The full-day program covered updates to Oregon planning law, recent legislation, ethics, and emerging legal considerations affecting planning work statewide. Sessions emphasized practical guidance all planners can apply directly to project review, policy development, and decision-making.
Participating in OAPA’s Legal Issues Workshop helps ensure our team stays current on evolving regulations and best practices, which supports thoughtful, compliant, and effective planning for all the communities we serve.
