At yesterday’s lunch and learn, Maddy Poehlein gave the Winterbrook team a walkthrough of the Community Explorer Dashboard, a state-specific tool that helps visualize demographic patterns, community characteristics, and spatial conditions across Oregon.

Maddy demonstrated how to select jurisdictions, compare areas, explore variables, and export maps or charts. The tool makes it easier to spot patterns, understand community characteristics, and support early planning work.

We also discussed how the Dashboard can help with demographic comparisons, engagement planning, and quick map production — along with where it can be helpful with our ongoing DLCD housing grant work.
