On Saturday, 3 of Winterbrook Planning’s AICP-certified planners (Ben Schonberger, Keava Campbell, and Morgan Snyder) attended Walkstars 2026, an annual event promoting pedestrian accessibility hosted by Oregon Walks and held this year at OMSI.

The event brought together advocates, planners, community leaders, and other pedestrian supporters to recognize transportation champions, and support the ongoing work of Oregon Walks.

The evening began with a walk on the  before guests gathered for dinner and fundraising in support of Oregon Walks.

Events like Walkstars help spotlight the importance of creating safe, connected, and accessible places for people throughout our communities.

Winterbrook Planning integrates transportation planning in our projects to help create healthier, more active communities. Events like Walkstars let us connect with others who are working toward more people-centered places throughout Oregon.
