Catlin Gabel School On-Call
Project Categories
Winterbrook has been Catlin Gabel’s on-call land use consultant for more than 15 years.
Working with the school and Washington County, Winterbrook has successfully obtained two separate master plan approvals, one for the existing Main Campus and another for the recently acquired East Campus. Previously, Winterbrook prepared a zone change application and comprehensive plan map amendment for several parcels at the perimeter of the Main Campus, to consolidate zoning on the site into one zoning category. These projects have required consideration of a wide variety of local and state level land use policies, coordination with transportation experts on access and circulation, provision of public utilities. Winterbrook has facilitated neighborhood meetings related to these applications and represented the school and public hearings.
In addition, Winterbrook has advised the school on mitigating the impacts of neighboring development and the viability of school building and facility expansions.
