Open House Celebrates Completion of Lake Oswego Medical Office Renovation

Winterbrook Planning’s Ben Schonberger and Larissa Gladding recently attended the open house for the newly renovated Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center of Oregon and Therapeutic Associates medical office in Lake Oswego. The event marked the completion of an extensive renovation transforming a 50-year-old, 32,000-square-foot building into a modern, patient-focused facility designed by Anderson Dabrowski Architects.

Winterbrook led the development review process for the project, guiding it through local approvals on behalf of the design and ownership team. The renovation revitalized the existing structure with new exterior cladding, updated windows, relocated access points, and enhancements to the surrounding courtyards and parking areas. The reconfiguration expands the building’s medical use while reducing general office space to better align with patient care needs.

The project required careful attention to technical details, including a detailed inventory of interior spaces to address code limitations on medical uses, coordination of a traffic study, and thoughtful compliance with Lake Oswego’s tree removal and protection standards. Winterbrook’s work ensured that the application met all applicable development requirements while maintaining the character and livability of the surrounding neighborhood.

Ben and Larissa joined project partners, design professionals, and medical office staff to celebrate the building’s transformation, and showcase Ben and Larissa’s their vast knowledge of the human skeletal system.
