National Public Lands Day
National Public Lands Day reminds us why we plan — to protect habitat, improve access, and connect communities to the outdoors. At Winterbrook Planning we do that work on the trail, in the field, and at the desk.
Highlights we’re proud of:
-
Smith Rock State Park — leading master-planning and on-the-ground field work
-
Leach Botanical Garden — long-term master planning, volunteer days, and community events that keep the garden growing and welcoming.
-
Wetlands and natural systems — protecting and restoring places like Smith & Bybee Wetlands, while guiding wetland inventories and permitting that safeguard clean water, wildlife, and public access.
-
Park projects — Forest Park trailhead planning and Washington Park Reservoirs restoration that strengthen resilience and public access.
Today’s a great excuse to get outside—take a walk, lend a hand at a volunteer event, or learn more about the lands you love.
