Leach Botanical Garden master plan wins award
We want to congratulate Land Morphology on winning the 2023 Award of Excellence from the Washington Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA)!
The Leach Botanical Garden Master Plan, led by Land Morphology, developed plans for new botanical collections, a new facility entrance, and new buildings including a visitor center, education building and greenhouses. Winterbrook Planning prepared the consolidated Conditional Use, Environmental, Tree and Adjustment application.
“It’s an experience you didn’t know you needed before you walked it, one you won’t forget, and one you’ll want to come back to experience again.”
Previously, Winterbrook assisted with programming, design, and natural resource planning for the 2010 Leach Botanical Garden Master Plan. Principal Tim Brooks served on the Master Plan Steering Committee. His involvement with the garden dates back more than 30 years: he prepared an inventory of the garden plant collection, cataloged the collection, designed plant labels, and served on the garden’s Education Committee for many years.
