We’re excited to share that Sunset Magazine has named Leach Botanical Garden one of the “Secret Garden Gems of the West”! This Southeast Portland treasure has grown from the Leach family’s private collection into a lush, 17-acre public garden with more than 2,000 plant species and its iconic Aerial Tree Walk.

Winterbrook Planning is proud to have played a part in the garden’s transformation—preparing the consolidated land use application and working alongside Land Morphology on the award-winning master plan. Our work helped ensure that every new trail, bridge, and planting balances ecological preservation with public access.
