Leach Botanical Feast in the Garden
Winterbrook Planning was honored to sponsor the 2024 Feast in the Garden at Leach Botanical Garden! Our co-founder, Tim Brooks, described the República and Co. 4-course dinner as the best meal he’s had all year, with standout dishes like grilled halibut with cherry salsa and this phenomenal masa cone with chicken liver paté.
Winterbrook Planning’s involvement with Leach Botanical Garden began long before our sponsorship of this event. We worked with Land Morphology to create the award-winning master plan, a blueprint that balances human enjoyment with ecological preservation. Our team also prepared the consolidated Conditional Use, Environmental, Tree, and Adjustment application that has guided the garden’s growth, ensuring every new feature contributes to a sustainable future.
The evening wasn’t just about fine dining—it was also an opportunity to give back. Guests participated in both silent and live auctions, bidding on unique experiences like garden tours, art workshops, and a private winery tour. The auctions last year raised critical funds to support ongoing projects at the Garden, including over $14,000 for the restoration of the Pedestrian Bridge over Johnson Creek. The highlight of the evening came during the paddle raise, where guests generously contributed towards Phase 2 of the Back 5 project, which will open a public trail loop next year.
Feast in the Garden is more than a meal—it’s an immersive experience showcasing the results of careful planning and dedication. We are proud to support Leach Botanical Garden as it continues to thrive, and we look forward to being part of its ongoing journey to create sustainable, inclusive green spaces for all.
Thanks again to all the attendees and the other sponsors!
