Winterbrook Planning sponsored a table at Harper’s Playground’s 2026 Summer(ish) Soirée, held at Avenue Portland last weekend!

The annual fundraiser supports Harper’s Playground‘s mission to build inclusive playgrounds where people of all abilities can play together, and featured dinner, live music, a raffle, and auction.

Attendees who joined the Winterbrook Planning table

Our Managing Principal Jesse Winterowd attended with his wife, Amy, representing Winterbrook at the sponsored table. The program included a keynote from Longview, WA City Manager Jennifer Wills, along with personal stories of how inclusive playgrounds bring families, friends, and communities together in play. Attendees also heard updates on Harper’s Playground projects underway in Oregon and Washington, and the John R. Lewis Memorial Playground at Foot Soldiers Park in Selma, Alabama, which will also serve as a platform for civil rights education.

Congratulations to Harper’s Playground on another great Soirée, and thank you to everyone helping bring inclusive play to more communities, one playground at a time.
