A Trusted Leader in Environmental Permitting

For more than a decade and a half, Anita has been a steady and trusted presence on our team. As a Senior Wetland Scientist, she specializes in federal, state, and local wetland and waterway permitting, helping clients navigate complex environmental regulations. She’s especially knowledgable about Oregon’s Goal 5 process and finding solutions that protect natural resources while keeping projects moving forward.

Project Highlights from the Past Year

Over the past year, Anita has played a key role on several major efforts:

Bull Run Filtration Facility
For the Portland Water Bureau’s Bull Run Filtration Facility, Anita conducted the wetland delineation and prepared the delineation report, secured permits from USACE, DEQ, and DSL, and supported the project’s Programmatic Environmental Assessment with EPA. She represented the team in Streamlining Committee meetings, contributed to agency coordination, supported the legal response to project appeals, and provided expert review following reapproval. Her steady involvement helped move this complex, high-profile infrastructure project across the finish line.

Silverton Pettit Reservoir Trail
Anita led wetland delineation fieldwork and report preparation for the City of Silverton’s Pettit Reservoir trail project. She worked closely with landscape architects to refine the boardwalk design, minimizing impacts to wetlands and streamlining the permitting path.

Tigard Tree Survey
In Tigard, Anita helped inventory and assess tree groves and specimen trees across more than 500 acres. She contributed to the development of the mapping methodology and presented findings to advisory committees, helping guide long-term natural resource protection in the growing community.
