GIS Day PDX
Grace Coffey and Savannah Edson made it out to the 10th annual GIS Day PDX yesterday! There was food, drinks, and old friends and colleagues to reconnect with.
Savannah said Lauren Sinclair gave an inspiring talk about exposing kids to spatial analysis in K-12 education. She has helped to create a whole wealth of resources for teachers– some exercises use actual GIS software and some are more experiential, such as building 3D models of topographic maps.
