Clackamas Community College bond measure passes
After a nail-bitingly close election, long-time Winterbrook Planning client Clackamas Community College (CCC) has officially passed their Bond Measure 3-613!
This $120-million bond renewal is a testament to ongoing support for high-quality education, workforce development, and modern, sustainable infrastructure. CCC issued a thank you note to the community earlier this week. The bond will fund expanded workforce training spaces, the state’s first space simulation center, more energy-efficient and accessible facilities, and enhanced athletic fields and walking trails.
Since 2003, Winterbrook Planning has had the privilege of collaborating with CCC on projects to shape its campuses. Led by Ben Schonberger, Senior Planner, Winterbrook has helped create an Institutional District, developed a long-term master plan for the previous bond, and obtained numerous permits for new buildings and facilities. Winterbrook is currently working on another master plan to permit future bond-funded projects.
Today, as the bond renewal enables further progress, we’re happy to see these efforts bear fruit!
