Winterbrook Planning cofounder Tim Brooks made the news (seen around the 1-minute mark)!

Tim recently joined Portland’s 2025 Earth Day Bike Bus. He navigated his custom cargo bike, complete with doggos, along downtown’s expanding network of protected bike lanes and complete streets improvements.

What started as a school-focused tradition has blossomed into a fun, community-driven bicycle commuting celebration, and Winterbrook Planning happily encourages our bike commuters.

Upon arrival at Salmon Street, the Bike Bus community gathered for a group photo, coffee, treats, and live music. Watching Tim and his canine companions mingle with fellow cyclists underscored how transportation choices can bring communities together, reduce our carbon footprint, and keep us active.
