Save the date: Housing Land Advocates 2025 conference
Mark your calendars for the Housing Land Advocates 2025 Conference, returning to Portland State University for a conversation on Oregon’s housing future.
This year’s keynote speaker, John D. Tovey III, Interim Executive Director of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, will share insights on sustainability and local responsiveness. Panels will cover critical topics, including:
- Resilient building practices
- Land use responses to climate disasters
- Insurance impacts on affordable housing
- Planning for climate migration
As with years past, one of Winterbrook Planning’s senior planners, Ben Schonberger, AICP, is helping to organize the event and will moderate one of the panel discussions.
