Winterbrook responded to an urgent request by Oregon Harbor of Hope to coordinate and address the land use needs for OHOH’s planned Navigation Center at the Broadway Bridge.  The Center will provide temporary shelter for 100 homeless individuals and navigational assistance to social service programs such as mental and medical health, housing placement and job training. Winterbrook has served as a land use advisor on the project since 2018.

Winterbrook’s Design Review application was approved by the City in early 2019.

The Portland Design Commission voted unanimously to approve the Broadway Navigation Center on June 27.  Formal findings and a final decision are set for their August 15 meeting.
