GIS Day 2022

Date: November 16, 2022

Happy GIS Day! We have have been able to take advantage of the wealth of GIS data available in Oregon through projects big and small. We wanted to share one of our recent projects with the City of Ontario, Oregon.

Jaime Crawford, one of our Associate Planners, recently analyzed Ontario’s demographic/development/market trends and population projections. Using GIS, she created a detailed residential buildable lands inventory to satisfy Oregon House Bill 2001 and 2003 requirements.

Working with Greg Winterowd, founding principal, she also helped bring Ontario’s development code in compliance with state law — adding provisions for Accesory Dwelling Units (ADUs), duplexes, and manufactured homes on single-family lots.
