Last night, Jesse Winterowd attended the Architecture Foundation of Oregon’s Honored Citizen dinner, held at The Nines Hotel Ballroom in downtown Portland. The 2025 Honored Citizen is Ernesto Fonseca, CEO of Hacienda CDC, recognized for his leadership in community development, housing equity, and partnerships that uplift Oregon’s neighborhoods.

The event brings together architects, planners, community advocates, and industry leaders to celebrate the built environment and those who shape it. Chosen by a peer committee, the Honored Citizen award spotlights contributions across public service, design, advocacy, and civic leadership.
